Tiger Journey excellent organisation

Tiger Journey is for me the best organisation for tiger Safaris. They have excellent drivers and guides and have the knowledge you need to have about tigers and other wildlife. The service they give you is outstanding. Perfect lodges and hotels.

Exceptional Guide

As a wildlife photographer, I know the importance of choosing the right company on specialist wildlife tours. We had the best guide possible in the Bandhavgarh National Park. Exceptional views of tigers and often out maneuvered other vehicles to ensure we got the best view possible. We unfortunately had to leave early due to corvid 19 - the ground support simply could not have been better. Thank you and our best wishes

Bandhavgarh National Park

We just spent a wonderful week with Pappu as our guide in Bandhavgarh National Park. He was able to track down the tigers with uncanny skill, and anticipate their movements so well that we were the only jeep out of many on one particular safari that got the best views of a tiger cub. Whilst tigers were the main focus of the safari, Pappu quickly noticed we were keen photographers interested in all wildlife, and he was happy to stop the vehicle so we could get our shots of everything we wanted to. He knew all the tigers by sight, and could even make out some from their pug marks (footprints). He was very knowledgeable about different birds as well. The national park is a beautiful area, with lots of different animals to see.
At the end of the trip when India announced a lock down due to coronavirus, Vedant was truly amazing. He organised transfers and an internal flight so we could leave the country. Without his help I don't know what we would have done.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a wildlife trip to India.

Exceptional and extraordinary experience with Tiger Journey

This was my third visit to Bandhavgarh. I am involved with animal conservation, and have traveled widely to many parts of the world. While I have had many wonderful guides in these wild places, I have never known anyone as gifted as Pappu. His encyclopedic knowledge of the jungle, as well as his uncanny understanding of tiger behavior, make him the must-have guide in Bandhavgarh National Park.
Seeing a tiger in its natural setting is a jaw dropping, heart stopping, life changing experience! It’s also VERY important that you have the right guide to increase your chances!

Tiger Journey - A 5 Star Luxury Experience

We were vey fortunate to be paired with "Pappu"of Tiger Journeys, by India Footprints who booked our safaris in Kanha and Bandavgarh National Parks. As my husband is a conservation biologist he is always looking for more in-depth knowledge and a deeper experience on our many wildlife journeys. Pappu was able to fulfill this need, providing many stories and information about the biodiversity and conservation issues facing Bandavgarh and it's many species. From bird calls, to trees and of course the large mammals - his knowledge was vast - gained from more than 25 years of experience guiding in this magnificent wilderness.
We seemed to be low on luck, and hadn't seen any tigers by our last day of safaris...this genuinely concerned Pappu and his many government guide friends, who were desparate to show us the majesty of this great cat. His concern paid off, and after carefully planning our routes as best he could, we were rewarded with incredible sightings - including two adult tigers and one tigress with four cubs! We also had an incredible leopard sighting - which we were told does not often happen in Bandavgarh. We were fortunate to experience the variety of habitats and wildlife which this amazing park has to offer. If we are ever able to return we will definitely be booking our adventure with Tiger Journey!
The lodge (Nature Heritage) & food was also of 5 star standard!
